We are pleased to announce that after several months of delays due to electrical upgrade requirements, the project for our portion of the Pool & Recreation Center refresh was submitted to permitting to allow us to move forward with construction after the swim season ends.
I know everyone is excited to get swimming and we are still working on trying to secure a lifeguard service that is within the communities budget as the previous pool company has been unable to find multiple candidates interested in working at RiverPark West.
If we are unable to secure a lifeguard service soon, the board is considering opening as "swim at your own risk" for this season only, however there will still be someone there to supervise the area and ensure pool rules are being followed. If that does end up being the case, I am told we will have to make modifications to the pool before being allowed to open.
Your property manager, the Board and I are working on a solution and will have something posted ASAP when we have a schedule secured. We do understand the frustration and apologize for the delays. We appreciate your patience as we work these last few kinks out to be able to kick off the summer swim season.
Please keep an eye out for the annual meeting notices that will go out next month, the meeting will be held on the third Monday of July at Hutchison elementary and we hope to see you all there!
